Why I Love Knitting

• You can do it with a seriously cut finger. (Cutting lemongrass stalks with a serrated knife is apparently a very bad idea.)
• You can do it while watching Christmas movies.
• You can do it with an 11 month old crawling all over you, your knitting bag and your project, although if said 11-month old pulls the needles out of your almost-finished project it can cause some unwanted lumps and bumps.
• Felting erases any mistakes you made along the way.
• It does not require the ability to cut straight (an ability I do not have, no matter what cool tools I use).
• You can make such fun things out of 1 very long piece of yarn!
