A brief synopsis of our lovely day: me up in the candlelight with coffee and a silent house, monkey bread, a family walk through the snow for some hot cocoa and eggnog lattes, a family nap after lunch, a drive through lovely snow to our church (the first time as a grown up that I've gone to my own church on Christmas Eve) and a yummy Japanese dinner with big fluffy flakes coming down... Merry Christmas!

Beautiful pictures. I LOVE, love, love being up late at night by myself with the Christmas lights glowing, a cup of coffee, and everyone else asleep. It is so peaceful and magical. :)
